Mrs. Elizabeth Talbot Belt papers.

The collection consists of one photograph of Elizabeth Talbot Belt probably taken in 1911, a memorial to Mrs. Elizabeth Talbot Belt, and a seventeen page typescript account of the "wreck of the Pulaski" described by Mrs. Rebecca J. McLeod (nee Lamar) and published in the Macon Daily Telegraph of Sunday, May 8, 1857. Written in ink across the top of the typescript, "In which 77 persons were lost some being descendants of Col. David Creswell." On the back of the last page there is a handwritten list of the children of Bettie Washington and Col. Fielding Lewis.
